Train's Clash Page 90

He continued, starting to look choked up, “It’s because of you that Winter and our daughter won’t have just my memories and photographs of Gavin. He’ll be here with us. Thank you, Killyama.” Viper’s voice broke. “Thank you.”

He strode away to where Winter was waiting with her arms open. Killyama had to look away when he buried his face in her hair.

She stared down at the massive pile of roses and gifts, whispering, “They don’t hate me.”

“No, they don’t hate you. They love you.”

“I won’t go that far,” she scoffed, unsuccessfully trying to relieve the emotional atmosphere. “But at least I don’t have to worry about them cutting my brake lines. I can’t keep these presents, though.” She cried harder. “Well, except for the tequila … and maybe Shade’s gun. John wouldn’t have liked it, anyway. He’s like Lily.”

“Killyama, you don’t have to give them back. We gave them to you to show you how much it means to us that we have Gavin back.”

She used a napkin to wipe her tears away. “If you’re sure, I can use the fishing pole when I go fishing with you and the guys.”

Train’s smile slipped. “The bothers don’t let women go with us on our fishing trips, but you and I can go.”

“Or the women can go on our own fishing trip, and you can stay behind.”

“Okay, I think the men can live with that.”

Mollified, she pushed the DVR collection to the side. “I can re-gift that to Sex Piston. Her birthday is next month.”

Willa brought them both a slice of the cake. “I made extra this time. The top three layers are for you to share with the Destructors. I’ll pack them up for you before I go to bed. They’ll be in the refrigerator for when you leave tomorrow.”

“Thank you, Willa.”

She smiled, leaving to pass the cake out to the others.

Train helped her pack the flowers and the presents inside the kitchen. They found a couple of small vases, but they had to put a few in large glasses. The loud music from clubroom had the flowers shaking on their stems.

“I asked Viper if we could have Shade’s old room, and he said yes. You want me to take you downstairs to show you?”

“Yes. I hope the bed is bigger than the one in your room.”

“You’re not going to have worry about that.” Train grinned, going to a door on the other side of the table.

They were about to go down the steps when Moon came in from the backyard.

“Train, you busy?”

“Depends on what you need?”

“I need some help packing Rider’s cake inside.”

Train turned toward Killyama. “Go ahead downstairs. I’ll be right behind you. Have a look around.”

She went down the steps, seeing a stripper pole when she was halfway down. Crossing her arms as she stalked toward it, she walked around it. Then, putting out a hand, she tried to shake it.

“Fuckers, the gazebo outside is about to fall down, but a cannon wouldn’t budge that pole.”

She took deep breathes, trying to regulate her breathing the way Hammer had taught her. How many bitches’ asses had Train watched twirl on it? Little Miss Innocent Lily and Beth hadn’t mentioned it was there. Still waters run tit deep in this den.

She looked around, thinking how the exercise equipment would come in handy to work off all the weight she was going to gain at King’s restaurant. Then she saw the door Train mentioned. Going through it, she opened the first door she came to, seeing a Jacuzzi.

“Now we’re talking.” The basement was made for Sex Piston. The bitch was going to have a fit when she told her about it.

Going back into the hallway, she found a bathroom. Taking advantage of the opportunity, she used it and washed her hands, surprised Train hadn’t called out to her by now. She had told him that cake was big. Men always had to find out the hard way. Probably had to get more than two men to help.

The door at the end of the hallway was open. Her eyes widened when she saw the large room wasn’t empty. Rider’s muscular body was over Sasha’s as he fucked her.

She turned to leave and walked into Train’s chest.

“I’m sorry it took so long. You were right about the cake.” Her man’s eyes took in what was happening behind her back. “Sorry, Rider, I didn’t know you were down here.”

“The door was open. Stay if you want to.”

Sasha’s moans had Killyama giving Train a shove toward the door.

“Don’t you want to watch?” He tried to look over his shoulder, but Killyama gave him a harder shove. She knew that glint in Train’s brown eyes intimately.

“No. The only one who is going to get pounded into the mattress tonight is me.” Slamming the door behind them, she put her hands on her hips, blocking him from opening the door again. “Dude, you’re going to buy me a new mattress before I move into that room.”

“You’re joking, right? We always put clean sheets on the beds when we’re done. Do you know how much mattresses cost?”

“Do you want to know what it’s going to cost you if you don’t?”

“You need any help?” Killyama swung her legs as she sat on kitchen counter, watching Ember and Sasha finish loading the dinner dishes into the dishwasher.

“No, there wasn’t much to do. Most of the men ate out tonight.” Ember carried two large containers of food to the refrigerator. “Usually the club is full when she makes her casserole.”

Killyama shrugged. “You can’t give men too much of a good thing.” Especially after she had given all the wives the recipe so they could make it for their husbands anytime they wanted it. During the last two months, she had noticed how the men could barely stomach it anymore.

Jumping off the counter, she left the kitchen, seeing Train and Rider were still playing pool. Moon was sitting at the bar, drinking a beer as he watched the two men play.

Killyama was pouring herself a shot of tequila when the two women came out of the kitchen.

“I’m going to go wash my hair,” Sasha told the men as she passed through the clubroom.

Ember entwined her arms around Moon’s neck. “I want to dance.”

Moon turned the music on louder then flipped the main lights off, leaving the lamps on in the room.

“I win!” Rider crowed, lifting his pool stick in the air.

Train laughed. “It only took three games to win one.”

“Who’s counting?” Rider said as they put their pool sticks down.

“I am,” Train quipped, taking a seat at the bar.

Killyama gave him a beer as Rider sat down, lifting a brow when she didn’t give him one.

“I’m not a fucking bar maid. Get your own beer.”

Rider came around the counter to get his beer while Killyama finished her shot of tequila.

“Rider and I are finished playing. You want to dance some before we go to bed?”

“It’s what I’ve been waiting for.”

Train stood up, holding his arms open. “I’m yours for the rest of the night.”

“Guess I’ll join Sasha in the shower after I finish my beer,” Rider commented, opening his beer.
