Cash's Fight Page 67

“They didn’t touch the coach but beat the hell out of Drake.” Viper got on his bike, looking at Cash as he got on his. He paused before starting the motor.

“They’re getting ready to make their move,” Cash acknowledged what Viper was thinking. Hell was getting ready to break loose, either in Jamestown or Treepoint.

“Send for the brothers in Ohio. Tell them to haul ass. Let Stud know the shit is getting ready to hit the fan,” Viper gave his orders.

Cash listened, taking mental notes. “I’ll tell everyone to be on alert. They’ll be ready to move.”

“Everyone but Shade; I want him with the women.” Viper started his motor.

Cash started his, also, taking his place beside Viper as they headed home.

“We going to the clubhouse tonight?” Cash asked, getting ready to go out the door Friday morning.

Rachel hesitated cleaning the breakfast plates in the sink. They had spent the last three nights at his grandmother’s house. He had deliberately waited to ask her about tonight, as if it was an afterthought. He was leaving the decision to her.

“I’ll meet you there at nine. There’s something I need to take care of first.” Rachel looked at him over her shoulder, seeing her answer had pleased him.

“See you then.”

“Cash?”

Her voice stopped him. “Yeah?”

“Bye.”

He walked back to her, bending down to give her a gentle kiss that was unlike any he had given her before. “Bye, vixen.”

With a wink, he was gone.

When Rachel sighed, Mag’s laughter startled her.

“Girl, you got it bad.”

“No, I don’t.” Rachel began to deny the truth, but Mag was already shaking her head.

“I’ve already been where you are. Keep the fight up until you have him exactly where you want him.”

“And exactly where is that?”

“With your foot right on his balls.”

Rachel sat in the parking lot, staring at the glass window and the customers inside. She wanted to change her mind. She’d almost started her car twice to drive back out of the lot.

“You going to sit there all day, or get your ass out of the car?” Killyama asked, coming to her car window. Rachel had been concentrating on Sex Piston’s beauty shop for so long she hadn’t noticed Killyama parking behind her.

“Yes.” Rachel cleared her throat. “Yes, I am.” This time, she sounded more decisive as she got out of her car and went in the shop with Killyama on her heels.

“I was wondering how long you were going to sit out there.” Sex Piston came out from behind the counter.

She motioned her to one of the chairs, putting a cape around her. Sex Piston had red hair like Rachel, but hers had more gold. She was wearing a black jumpsuit with a chunky gold belt wrapped around her waist.

She picked up her scissors. “So, you want me to take off a couple of inches?” She held the scissors poised.

“I want it all off,” Rachel told her.

“Are you sure?” Sex Piston asked her doubtfully. “Are you going to cry and threaten to sue me if I do?”

“No.” Rachel looked Sex Piston directly in the eyes. “When you get done with me, I want to look and feel sexy.”

“You think my haircuts are that good?”

“I think you’re that good,” Rachel agreed.

“You’re right about that.” Sex Piston pulled Rachel’s hair back into a large pony tail then lifted the end into the air. “You sure?”

“I’m sure.” Her voice didn’t waver.

Sex Piston clipped the pony tail off. Rachel wasn’t even tempted to cry when Sex Piston laid it on the counter.

“I brought an envelope to mail it to Locks for Love.”

“I’ll take care of it.” She turned the chair around. “Let’s wash your hair and put some style in what you have left.”

Rachel let Sex Piston do her magic. The woman took Rachel’s request as a challenge, cutting and snipping her hair after she’d washed it then blown it out. The whole time, Killyama sat watching from a nearby chair. Crazy Bitch waited on three other customers while Sex Piston took her time.

“Beth told me you’re seeing Cash.”

“Yes.”

Sex Piston used the curling iron after she blew it out, going layer by layer.

“Any reason you’re wanting to look sexy on a Friday night?” Killyama asked, lowering her magazine.

Rachel didn’t say anything.

“She learns fast, doesn’t she?” Killyama got up from her chair. “You’re going to need more than a sexy haircut to show up those women.”

“I don’t want to show them up. I just don’t want to look like a country bumpkin anymore. The first party I went to, I wore a cream dress and a shrug.”

Both women looked at her in pity.

“I don’t know why normal women want to tear themselves up over those assholes,” Killyama snapped.

“You’re just still mad at Train because he didn’t come back for seconds,” Sex Piston stated matter-of-factly.

“I wouldn’t touch that fucker again if he begged me,” Killyama snorted.

“He hasn’t, and he won’t, so get over it,” Sex Piston advised.

“What are you going to wear tonight?” Killyama asked, changing the subject.

“I haven’t decided. I thought—”

“I’ll hook you up. You’re my last customer, so when we’re done, we can go to my house. You can borrow an outfit of mine. Just make sure you give it back,” Sex Piston told her. “Beth tells me that they like to steal the clothes off your back there.”

“In more than one way,” Killyama said snidely.

“What’s your fucking problem?” Sex Piston turned in place on her impossibly high heels.

“I ain’t got no problem.” She sank back down on her chair, picking the magazine up again.

“Good, then shut the hell up. The girl wants to look good for her man tonight. Leave her be.”

Rachel studied Killyama’s aggravated expression. Did she have a thing for one of the men? Sex Piston had mentioned Train, but she had seen her nearly run him over with her car after Lily’s wedding ceremony. Was she another woman who Cash had been with?

Rachel stared at herself in the mirror. Even in Jamestown, she was faced with Cash’s possible exploits.

Chapter 35

Cash was sitting at the bar with Nickel when Nickel quit talking, staring toward the doorway. His brother always staked the door out to catch any fresh pussy walking through for the first time.

“Is that Rachel?” Nickel elbowed him, almost knocking him off his stool.

Cash turned to have a look and nearly spilt his drink. “What the fuck!”

Rachel’s hair had been cut short, brushing her jawline. The thick mass was tousled, as if she had just been fucked. His little vixen was wearing a short, bouncy, black skirt that barely reached the top of her thighs. His eyes slid down her slim legs, staring at the heels on her feet. Cash’s cock thickened behind his jeans. Her top was the piece that he had every intention of playing with as soon as possible. Top? Hell, it was more of a black bra that cupped her tits with a small, thick silver zipper holding the two cups together.
